You can participate in the many projects of construction, maintenance, cleaning, cooking or child care for 4 hours each day and then enjoy your free time for the many activities available with friends or on your own. Activities include making new friends, fellowship, potlucks, walks on the beach, swimming, sea shell collecting, crafts, fishing, table games, yard games, many restaurants, bird watching and bonfires. For those that are interested, there are bible studies and church services. Safety: Your safety is important to us. We have a guided RV caravan with security from Arizona to the children's home in Las Glorias Mexico. This is a 2-4 day casual drive, staying each night in a secure location. A translator and mechanic will be available for any unexpected vehicle troubles. At Love and Grace children's home we have full hook-up RV sites and overnight security guards. |
RVers Winter Mission Trip
Winter season:
The caravan leaves Arizona on December 1st each year and returns on April 1st. You can choose to stay for a longer or shorter time period. If you want to come try it out for a short period without an RV, arrangements can be made and housing is available. Purpose: Giving your time to serve as a volunteer at Love and Grace children's home is a great service to the kingdom of God. The children who are cared for at Love and Grace are being rescued from abusive situations and sometimes drug or sex trafficking slavery. Our goal is to provide a safe and wholesome Christian family life environment where kids can grow and thrive. We provide complete housing, care and education through college or trade school. Your Cost: We charge no fees for this trip. You will only pay your own expenses, which will differ according to the vehicle you are driving and your meal choices. RV sites at the children's home have a recommended $10 per night donation for water, electric and security guard expenses. A donation for materials expense for the many projects you may be working on is not required but very appreciated. |
