LOVE AND GRACE children's home
Where- LOVE AND GRACE is located in Las Glorias, Sinaloa Mexico. Our children's home is located close to the beach in our newly remodeled facilities. Las glorias is a beach front community where many Mexican nationals have homes. There are miles of sandy beaches and wonderful local restaurants to enjoy there. Las Glorias provides a peaceful environment away from the violence and abuse of the main city where children can be safe, restored and concentrate on their schooling.
Why- In Mexico many children suffer abuse or abandonment as a result of the activities of drug trafficking by cartels. The government has no Christian homes in which to place the children, so they suffer and become prey to the drug industry and sex trafficking. The few secular children's homes are run for financial gain and have bad reputations for abusing the children. We aim to be the solution, a safe haven for the children that have no good place to go.
Who- Hope For Mexico Missions has joined several local pastors and church leaders into a board of directors and founded LOVE AND GRACE children's home.
How- We have already received all the legal permits and documentation from the government to proceed. The board of directors have been creating partnerships with local professionals and businesses who want to participate in supporting and providing services to the children's home. We are trying to connect American churches to this effort so that it can be a joint effort with the Mexican nationals. The Mexican government will not be supporting the children's home financially because that would result in the home being run by the government. We are currently looking for monthly supporters as the Mexican Directors are hiring and training employees to work in the home. We are so thankful for the many who have invested to finish the remodeling of the facilities in Las Glorias.
What do we provide- We provide the children with a complete Christian community. The children's home is a Christian family environment that is supported by the local Christian churches. The children will be provided with a great room to sleep safely. Meals are provided by chefs that are volunteers from the local churches. They will have their own Christian school on-site. All their clothes and toys are provided. The children will enjoy bible devotions every morning and a visit from local churches on the week-ends. The home has it's own volunteer security personnel with security cameras and motion lighting. The grounds are fully fenced and the children are attended at all times. The children are trained in practical daily living skills and can receive benefits for serving in varies duties if they choose. There is a positive, encouraging motivational environment instead of the demoralizing situation the children come from. Of course there are some rules to follow and consequences. The children's medical needs are provided to them.
What's missing- Our target for opening LOVE AND GRACE children's home is this January 2026. We have finished the building of the facilities. We have all the legal documents. We are missing some monthly supporters to cover the operating expenses. We are missing some equipment needed for schooling, bedding, safety and food preparations.
