Tamazula
Tamazula is a farm and cattle ranch community in the suburbs of Guasave, Sinaloa, Mexico. The main crop is corn used to make tortillas. Tamazula is the oldest community in the area, about 350 years old. Even though it is old, it has not developed very much. Only a few streets are paved. Tamazula has about 6,000 population and has a well that provides water to all the communities in the area. A big negative for the community is that it was the birthplace of most of the idolatry, witchcraft, spiritism and drug trafficking in the area. The good thing is that we planted a church there about 8 years ago that continues to grow. From the church in Tamazula, several leaders have been raised up who are going to other communities to start planting a church.

Tecomate
Tecomate is a community on the outskirts of Guasave, Sinaloa, Mexico. For lack of electricity and a missionary to consistently disciple the people, the little church that was started has not flourished. But now there are some rising leaders coming from our church in Tamazula that are moving in place to be able to give consistent outreach. We hope to soon have electricity and be able to dig a well to provide adequate living conditions for a pastor to live in the community and disciple the people there.
